Your Privacy Choices

You can change how we use cookies and similar technologies at any time with the Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page. Whatever you choose, the website, calling us and requesting a quote work the same. We group technologies into these categories:

• Essential (always on): operating and securing the site, delivering your quote request, a cookie named uhe_consent that remembers your privacy choices for up to 12 months, and a session cookie named uhe_region that records which regional default applies. Neither identifies you.
• Analytics: our own website analytics described below and Google Analytics measurement.
• Advertising: Google Ads cookies used to measure and personalize advertising.
• Session replay: recordings of how pages are used (Microsoft Clarity). Off for everyone unless you specifically turn it on.

Defaults depend on where you are. For visitors in the United States and most other countries, Analytics and Advertising are on by default and we show a short notice; you can turn either off at any time. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing beyond Essential is used until you choose to allow it. We determine the region from your connection's approximate location; if we can't tell, we use the stricter default. Session replay is never on by default anywhere, and "Accept all" does not turn it on.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising and keep the Advertising category off, whatever else is selected.

Google Consent Mode. Your choices are passed to Google tags. When Analytics or Advertising is off, Google tags do not set or read their cookies for that purpose and send only limited, cookieless signals that Google may use for aggregate measurement.

Our Own Website Analytics

We measure how visitors find and use our website so we can improve it and understand which of our marketing actually helps customers. For every visit we record, without identifying you across visits: pages viewed, how you arrived (for example a search engine, an ad click, a QR code or another website), time on page and scrolling, clicks on buttons, phone numbers and email links, that a form was started or submitted and which fields were completed (never what you typed), device type and browser, approximate location (city/region) derived from your connection, and technical information such as page-load performance and errors. We do not store your IP address. When Analytics is off, this information is tied only to a temporary identifier that ends when you close the browser tab.

When Analytics is on, our server also sets a first-party cookie named uhe_vid containing a random identifier (it expires after 400 days) so we can recognize return visits, and if you submit a quote request we connect that request to your earlier visits to learn which pages and marketing led to it. Phone numbers and email addresses used for that connection are stored in our analytics system only in a one-way, keyed (hashed) form; your contact details stay in our customer records. If you later turn Analytics off, the uhe_vid cookie is deleted and no new one is set.

Detailed activity records are kept for about 13 months and per-visit summaries for about 25 months. We use this information only to run and improve our business; we do not sell it. We use an AI service (Anthropic) to help analyze aggregated business and website metrics; the information we send for that analysis does not include names, phone numbers, email addresses or street addresses.

Google Analytics & Google Signals

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. When Google Signals is enabled, Google may associate visitation information with Google account data for users who are signed in and have consented to personalized advertising. This may include:

• Location data
• Device data
• Search history
• YouTube history
• Browsing activity on sites that partner with Google

This data helps provide measurement insights and, when applicable, more relevant ads.

Ads Personalization

If ads personalization is enabled, Analytics data may be used to build audiences for Google Ads and deliver relevant advertising.

User-ID and User-Provided Data (If Enabled)

If we use User-ID or user-provided data features, we may send hashed, non-identifiable customer data to Google Analytics to improve measurement across devices. We do not send personal identifiers such as names, phone numbers, or emails in plain text.

These features are only used when users voluntarily provide information and consent to its use.

Opt-Out Options

Use Privacy choices to turn Analytics, Advertising or Session replay on or off at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
• Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
